Weigle

Danny S. Weigle, 61, of Valencia, Middlesex Township, passed away Friday afternoon, Sept. 11, 2026, in the comfort of his home with his family by his side.

Born Jan. 1, 1965, in Butler, he was the son of Louella Critchlow Weigle and the late Dale S. Weigle.

Danny had been the roadmaster for Ohio Township.

A 1983 graduate of Mars High School, he loved hunting, watching football, NASCAR, and his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He loved working with his hands and had built a truck from scratch; he could fix anything.

Surviving are his wife, Peggy D. Sauers Weigle, whom he married Oct. 5, 1991; his daughter, Amber Fedosick of Pittsburgh; his son, Austin Weigle of Valencia; his mother, Louella Weigle of Valencia; a sister, Debbie Deal (Dan) of Butler; two brothers, David Weigle (Laura) in Oklahoma and Dean Weigle (Sharon) of Valencia; 17 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also survived by his in-laws, Joe Sauers, Maggie Norlowe (Tom), Mary DeFonde (Kenny), Jim Sauer (Pam), June Thompson, Bobby Sauers and Don Sauers.

WEIGLE — There will be no visitation for Danny S. Weigle, who died Friday, Sept. 11, 2026. A private family service will be held.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
