Patricia Bennett
Patricia V. Bennett, 80, of Gibsonia, formerly of Ross Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, Sept. 13, 2026.
Patty was the beloved wife of Elmer Bennett, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Steven Bennett, Michael (Alesia) Bennett and Karen (Joe) Rusnica, and the loving grandmother to Ryan, Adam, Rachel, Jenna, Alexander, Maxwell and Jonathan. Her family was the center of her life, and she took tremendous pride in her children and grandchildren.
Patty is also survived by her beloved sister, Diane Chetoka, who was an important and cherished part of her life. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Betty Klubert.
Patty grew up on Pittsburgh’s North Side and was a member of St. Leo’s Church. Her Catholic faith remained an important part of her life. She later served as a Eucharistic Minister at Nativity of Our Lord Church and volunteered with the Ladies of Charity at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at Saint Kilian Church.
For 38 years, Patty worked at Csonka Optometrics. She truly enjoyed the many people she had the opportunity to work with and meet throughout those years, and the friendships and connections she made there meant a great deal to her.
Patty found happiness in the simple things in life. She enjoyed having lunch with friends, taking trips to the mall, spending time with the people she loved and, most of all, being with her family. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely and for the special place she held in the lives of those who knew her.
Patty’s greatest legacy is the family she loved so deeply. Her memory will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family and the many friends whose lives she touched.
