Chefs serve up dishes to aid clinic
PENN TWP — WQED-TV cooking personality Chris Fennimore and chefs from some of the region’s finest restaurants are teaming up to help raise money for the Community Health Clinic of Butler County.
The event, “Signature Sensations,” will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 7 at Butler Country Club, 310 Country Club Road.
Fennimore and chefs will cook a multicourse dinner for guests featuring signature dishes from each chef’s restaurant. It will include appetizers, salad, entrees and dessert.
In addition, attendees will learn about wine pairings for each dish and sample recommended wines.
The country club, the Chop Shop, Dolce Mia’s Bakery, The Pines Tavern and Penne Butler are participating. Miller Quality Meats, LeCreuset, Batch and The Bloom Cafe also will provide samples of their products and information for the holiday season.
Tickets are $125 per person and can be bought online at www.butlerhealthclinic.org, at May’s Music Shoppe in Butler or by calling 724-841-0980, Ext. 106.
The nonprofit health clinic provides free health care to the working uninsured.
