As a parent, I will support no-one that violates my child,s rights. Teachers are pampered no matter what you say. Education is not education anymore, it is a political game at our children's expense. It is a state law that our children attend school, it is not a luxury for them. If any teacher has it all that bad, I suggest they find employment elsewhere. You forgot to mention that after 3 years, a teacher has tenure. This secures their job. They also have summers off. When teachers do not get what they want, they go on strike. There is alot to be said about the profession of education in the year 2010. Bottom line, no one will violate my child's rights or my child. I do not care who you are. It is usually the nastier teachers that do all the complaining anyway. Why don't we all just do our job to the best of our ability for that job and live life?
