3 children dead in town house fire
CLAIRTON — Three children are dead and two teens are being treated at a hospital after a town house fire near Pittsburgh this morning.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner says 9-year-old Rachel Finn and 6-year-old Deausha Faulk, who were sisters, died at Jefferson Hospital.
A third child, 2-year-old Michael Zigler, is also dead. He was not related to the girls who lived at the town house in Clairton, about 10 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
Two teens were also hurt, but their conditions and names haven't been released. They're being treated at UPMC Mercy hospital in Pittsburgh, which has a burn unit.
The county fire marshal is investigating, but says the fire doesn't appear suspicious. Investigators believe the fire started in the kitchen about 1:20 a.m. today.
