Jennifer Stutz
Jennifer “Jen” Virginia Stutz, 53, of Butler, born May 16, 1973, passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at Shadyside Hospital, following a courageous journey with cancer.
Jen’s life was filled with people who were uniquely hers. At the center of that life were her four children, Colby (Hannah), Cara (Jake), Christian and Callie Chritzman. She was also Grandma to Norvin and Braxton, two little boys she absolutely adored. One of the things that brought Jen immense joy in recent months was knowing her family was continuing to grow. She was especially excited about the arrival of two more grandchildren, both expected next year.
Jen is also survived by her father, John Stutz; her sister, Renae Hack and her family; her brothers, John, Mark and Matt Stutz, and their families; as well as her companion, Joe Housley and his mother, Barb Housley.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Evie Stutz. While saying goodbye to Jen is incredibly difficult, there is peace in imagining a reunion we hope was every bit as beautiful as it deserved to be.
Cancer may have taken Jen from this life much sooner than anyone was ready for, but it cannot take away the place she held in her family or the memories that remain with those who knew her.
Rest peacefully, Jen. You will be loved and remembered by those whose lives were forever connected to yours.
