LOL. As soon as somebody complains about teachers going on strike, they ask if we are jealous because we make less money than they do. Guess what - people in other occupations are well educated and make good money. We are complaining because teachers in PA think they should get FREE health benefits and if they don't get them, they go on strike. It is ridiculous in this day and age when other professionals have to contribute several hundred dollars a month to their healthcare benefits. Teachers loose nothing when they go on strike. They end up making their entire salary because they only work 1/2 the year, so they have plenty of time to make up their "lost" days. Nobody suffers except the students. Every other union worker who goes on strike suffers by not getting any pay while on strike. There is no reason for them NOT to strike. The school boards in PA have to just stop caving in to their demands and listening to the taxpayers.
