M. Janice Campbell, 88, of the Schenley Gardens Apartments in Pittsburgh and formerly of the Butler Towers died Saturday at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Oct. 2, 1919, in Butler, she was a daughter of David W. and Minnie Turgeon Campbell.

A graduate of Butler High School, she was employed for 20 years as a bookkeeper at Keystone Electrical Supply in Butler until retiring in 1984.

Mrs. Campbell was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

She is survived by a daughter, Marcia J. Campbell of Pasadena, Md.; her twin sister, Jean Heck of Verona; and a niece, Kathy Chatfield of Pittsburgh.

Her only son was killed in action during the Vietnam War.

Janice Campbell, who died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
