Marcellus C. Schwartz, 93, of Grove City died Sunday at Orchard Manor in Grove City.

He was born June 7, 1914 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Michael and Veronica Walters Schwartz.

He was a retired truck driver who worked for Follembees Steel in Pittsburgh.

He is survived by his wife, Constance Hughes Schwartz, of Florida; two daughters, Marlene Wichryk of Beaver Falls, and Dorothy Thomas, of Atlantic, Pa.; two sons, James M. Schwartz of Grove City and Ralph Schwartz, of Florida; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche R. Schwartz, who died on Nov. 26, 1990; a brother, Arthur Schwartz, and grandson, James Wichryk.
