Betty L. Davis
Betty L. Davis, 80, of Evans City died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born March 30, 1927, in East Brady, she was the daughter of James and Mary Pryor.
Mrs. Davis was a long-time member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Evans City and the Evans City Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
She is survived by seven children, Verne J. Davis of Emsworth, Bette Jo (Carl) Dillon of Marcellus, Mich., William J. (Judie) Davis of Emsworth, Rita J. (Pete) Motter, of Butler, Richard J. (Sandy) Davis of Harmony, Thomas J. (Mary) Davis of Elkton, Ky., and Deborah J. (Mike) Scheller of Mars; a sister, Helen (Bruce) Nelson of Evans City; and a sister-in-law, Elsie (Robert) Pryor of Evans City. She also is survived by 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Verne "Joe" Davis; three children, Ruby J., Verna J., and Edward J.; and two grandchildren, Joshua and Nicholas.

Grandview Ave., Zelienople, where a memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. Thursday.
