Arlene Buckley Campbell, 85, of Renfrew and of Truth or Consequences, N.M., formerly of Tidioute in Warren County, died Thursday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born Nov. 19, 1922, in Kellettville, Forest County, she was a daughter of Archie and Esther Walters Walter.

She was a homemaker and had been a secretary at the former PennCo Co.

Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Connoquenessing United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, George W. Campbell; a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Connie) Schwab of Truth or Consequences; two grandchildren, Mrs. Paul (LeeAnn) Tooley of Truth or Consequences and Louis J. Schwab of Monticello, N.M.; two step-grandchildren, Mrs. William (Linda) Clark of Renfrew and James Campbell and his wife, Debbie, of Tidioute; four step-great-grandchildren, and a step-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William H. Buckley, who died Sept. 10, 1981, and a twin sister, Ailene Walter.

<B>CAMPBELL</B> — Friends of Arlene Buckley Campbell, who died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the <B>James M. Higgins Funeral Home</B>, 3 Elm St., Tidioute. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Lawton, pastor of the Tidioute First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the Nieltown Cemetery, Harmony Township, Forest County.
