Never wanted anyone to feel sorry for me. I try to state facts. You are right about one thing:I should state accurate statistics, so here are the facts.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics/US Dept of Labor the top professions(that require a BS or higher)for hourly rate are:

(1)Anesthesiologist= $80.00+/per hour(28)financial manager=$75.00/hour(20)lawyer=$53.17/hour(10)general prac.=$75.60/hr(50)chemical engineer=$40.71/hour. The facts showed that teachers did not make the top 100 in terms of hourly pay rate.

However at a site called payscale they showed the median pay for teachers in PA(as of 2 years ago) to be $49300. So I extrapolated a bit and assumed a 180 day work year X 7 hours a day which equaled 1260 hours per year. Divide $49300 by 1260 and you arrive at an hourly pay rate of $39.13 per hour for teachers. That would place teachers outside the top 50 for professions requiring a BS or higher.
