Well, I'm a software engineer, and my salary and education is probably similar to yours. I do not consider my job comparable to an anethesiologist, nor should you. If I write bad code, I don't get sued. It won't kill anything except a web page. I might get fired, but not sued. If you are a bad teacher, you get neither fired nor sued. You get tenure. Sorry, Fred, but you will never have my sympathy, so stop crying the blues. To actually hear a teacher, who works 180 days a year, complain that they don't get vacation really takes the cake! If that wasn't hypocritical enough, then to complain that they don't get 401K match - of 6%, knowing full well that they get 403B match of 9% is totally outrageous!
