James Earl Vandivort, 55, of Polk died Wednesday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Born March 5, 1952, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Rose Marie Brunner Vandivort of Harmony and the late Earl W. Vandivort.

He enjoyed music and watching television, and he was an avid Steeler fan.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Carol Flach and her husband, Fred, of Chesapeake, Va., and Mary Anne Vandivort of Virginia Beach, Va.; and a brother, Clyde Vandivort and his wife, Cheryl, of Franklin, W.Va. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews.

<B>VANDIVORT</B> — A Mass of Christian burial for James Earl Vandivort, who died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Please meet at church.
