Eleanor Taylor
Eleanor M. Taylor, 81, of Butler, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, at Sunnyview Nursing Center in Butler after an illness.
Eleanor was born in Unionville, on Aug. 14, 1945. She was a housewife. She had belonged to the Presbyterian Church of Prospect, where she previously served as a deacon. She had belonged to a bowling league in Butler and she belonged to a card club and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Eleanor enjoyed her family time and going out to eat with friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy (Mike) Peace, of Slippery Rock, and Cindy (Jeff) Marburger, of Butler; one son, Rob (Robin) Taylor, of Cranberry; two brothers, Thomas (Joyce) Fuhs, of Butler, and Dave Fuhs, of Florida; one sister, Bonnie Stitler, of Butler; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren with future great-grandchildren on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor, whom she married March 24, 1962, and who died Oct. 28, 2007; and by her mother, Betty Jane Miller Fuhs.
TAYLOR — The family of Eleanor M. Taylor, who died Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect with the Rev. Jason Sinagra officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME, Prospect.
