Lillian “Dolly” Jennings Ganster passed away on Aug. 10, 2021, at the age of 91.

She was the beloved wife for 57 years to the late William Ganster; loving mother of Elizabeth and her husband, David Alchier; Kathleen Ganster and her husband, Paul Sauers; and Jack Ganster (Kat Plakinger).

She was the cherished grandmother of Valerie Alchier (Stuart Harris) and William (Lisa) Alchier, Eliza (Jeremy Peabody), and Kenton and Cole Ganster; and the great-grandmother of Grace Alchier and River Peabody.

She was preceded in death by her son, William “Billy” Ganster.

Dolly was a graduate of St. Margaret School of Nursing, and retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Health as a nursing inspector.

GANSTER — The family of Lillian “Dolly” Jennings Ganster, who died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, will receive friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas-in-the-Fields Church in Gibsonia, where a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. with a reception following in the church pavilion.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Bakerstown.
