After reading this post week after week...it's clear that teacher bashing really never gets old. Keep up the good work, bloggers. I especially loved the ridiculous post that said "let's get rid of the darn unions" and "fire the bad ones" with respect to teachers. Maybe we can even bring back lynch mobs for teachers that don't meet your standards. Which brings me to the next question...what exactly distinguishes a good teacher from a bad teacher? Test scores? I know some FANTASTIC special education teachers. Those teachers' students will NEVER score high on the state assessment. Should they be fired too? What about inner city teachers? The scores are certainly not going to be the same as schools in Butler County where the demongraphics are much differnt. Perhaps we should just fire all them too. Seriously, people...keep up the great blogging.
