I-79 south restricted after dump truck fire
CRANBERRY TWP — Traffic on the southbound lanes of Interstate 79 was restricted this morning after a dump truck caught fire.
In addition to only one southbound lane remaining open after the incident, which occurred about 6:30 a.m., the on-ramps were shut down.
While emergency crews extinguished the blaze by 7:30 a.m., they still were at the scene at 8 a.m.
