I look back at old pictures of us as kids.

On the surface, I see bad hair, strange clothes, funny smiles.

But on another level,

I also see how much life

we've experienced side by side —

Bad times followed quickly by good ones, disagreements followed quickly by laughter.

And while we're different in a lot of ways,

We also share some very basic values.

We laugh at the same stories have some of the same habits,

Even a few similar quirks.

There's no relationship in the world like the one between

a brother and sister.

I'm so glad ours is such a good one.
