Miller

Robert Miller, 89, of Renfrew, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026.

Born in Butler on Dec. 5, 1936, he was the son of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Riely) Miller.

Robert dedicated more than 25 years of service to Pullman Standard.

In his younger years, Robert enjoyed fishing and spending time riding his Harley. He was known for his outgoing personality, quick smile and ability to strike up a conversation with anyone he met. His friendly nature and genuine kindness allowed him to make friends wherever he went. He will be deeply loved, remembered and missed by all who knew him.

Robert was the beloved husband of Helen (Cochran) Miller; father of David and Joseph “Joe” (Tracy) Miller; and grandfather of Ryan and Tyler Miller.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, William Miller.

MILLER — Arrangements for Robert Miller, who died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Family and friends are invited to gather for burial prayers at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, at Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. A private interment will follow.
