Joe

Joe, my poll figures came from Realclearpolitics. It is the average of over a dozen different polls taken on health care over the last few months.

By the way, you seemed to have ignored the Massachusetts health care plan. I guess since those facts failed to prove your "point", then they must not be important.

The social security system issued its annual report last Thursday. Here are the facts. Payments will exceed revenues in 2010 and 2011. Then in 2012-2014 the program would return to being in the black. However, in 2015 and EVERY year after that, the benefits paid out will exceed revenue taken in(in the red). Now the source for that was the SS administration.

The way to a prosperous America is to extend the Bush tax cuts for everyone, cut spending, balance the federal budget, and let all Americans keep as much of their hard-earned money as possible. I know, some people inherit or marry into money, but it's still their money, not the federal government's money. Now Joe, let's pretend that an aunt of your passes away(hope not) and leaves you $5,000,000. What would you do, keep it or give the Feds over 50% of it? Unless you say: "I want to give the Feds over $2,500,000 of that money." you'd be a bit of a hypocrite, wouldn't you? Just recently you stated that people who inherit money didn't deserve it(or at least deserved to be heavily taxed on it)or is that just your rationale for "other people".

Let's face it, we won't agree on these two issues. However, I believe that my view point is that of the majority of Americans and most of my views are based upon facts, not rhetoric.
