Fred, if you get money from your parents, YOU did not pay taxes on it. YOU received the money. YOU received an income which you did not pay for. How hard is that to understand? According to your argument, someone who gets a paycheck can claim that their employer already paid taxes on that money, so they should not have to pay taxes. If the Bush tax cuts were eliminated for the richest Americans, LESS THAN THREE PERCENT OF "SMALL" BUSINESS WOULD PAY MORE IN TAXES. Wow, less than three percent. And those business would have a profit in excess of $250,O00.

Fred, you are saying the health care law is a main contributor to the national debt in only about five months of its existence when many of its provisions have yet to go into effect? 1/3 of the stimulus was TAX CUTS. So, by arguing the stimulus has added to the national debt, you are arguing that tax cuts have contributed to the national debt since they were a significant part of the stimulus.

If anyone wants to argue that FOX News is not the most biased news organization around today, how do you explain this? This should end any argument that is still left over how fair and balanced Fox News really is.

It's amazing how the right wing media has brainwashed so many Americans. Tax cuts will cure cancer, tax cuts will bring about world peace, tax cuts will turn around the economy, tax cuts will help the military win in Afghanistan, tax cuts will rebuild the infrastructure of the nation, tax cuts blah blah blah.

Again, this is not a matter for debate, the main causes of the ballooning national debt are the Bush tax cuts, the Obama tax cuts, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The US cannot continue to cut taxes and fight wars. Wars do not pay for themselves. Finally, Fred, if I received millions and millions in inheritance, I would not mind paying half in taxes on money that I did not earn in any way except being born because I would know that I would benefit more from society than I did before I had the money, plus I would still have millions that I did not work for. Those who benefit the most from society, like Paris Hilton, should pay more to support society. Remember, "D" moves you forward, "R" puts you in reverse.
