Friendship Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock is hosting Back to Church Sunday Sept. 20, to rally people to attend church.

According to an email from the church, it will have Sunday School starting at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. The church is located at 877 Franklin Road, Slippery Rock. Everyone is welcome, the email said.

The church will also host a blessing of pets at 1 p.m. Oct. 3 at Moraine State Park’s South Shore in the Windy Knob Shelter. Bring your family pets leashed or in a pet carrier, or pictures of your furry friends and receive a pet blessing as part of the Blessing of the Animals outdoor worship service.
