STATE COLLEGE — A former Penn State student ran down a sixth-floor hallway of an off-campus apartment building and intentionally dove out a window before he was found dead on the street outside, authorities said Tuesday.

An autopsy on Joshua Zornberg, 24, was scheduled for today, Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers said.

State College police said in a statement that video from the University Gateway building showed him running down the hall and “intentionally diving out the hallway window.”

Authorities responded to a call of someone lying in the middle of the road near the Penn State campus about 1 a.m. Tuesday. The man suffered significant trauma, and medical personnel found no vital signs when they arrived, police said.
