The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is hosting an open house for full-time and seasonal maintenance positions in Butler County from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Butler County Maintenance office, 351 New Castle Road.

Positions are available for full-time and seasonal equipment operators; diesel and construction equipment mechanics; diesel and construction equipment mechanic trainees; and automotive mechanics. People interested in the positions are encouraged to attend.

Employees will be present to answer questions and help people interested with employment applications. Attendees to the event will be able to apply, interview and road test, if eligible, and should bring two forms of identification — one of which should be a valid driver’s license, according to PennDOT.

To view current positions and to apply, visit www.employment.pa.gov.
