Joseph H. Spohn, 90, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, at his residence.

He was born June 26, 1936, in Herman, Pa., the son of the late Joseph Spohn and Pearl (Strobel) Spohn.

Joe was a union carpenter, having retired from Ross & Kennedy Construction. He loved spending time with his family and his dogs.

Surviving are two daughters, Shelby Weichey and Shawnna Thompson, both of West Sunbury; and four grandchildren, Tiffany Weichey, of McDonald, Andrew Weichey, of Clarion, Austin Thompson, of Butler, and Kaitlyn Thompson, of Meadville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Ann (Clark) Spohn; a sister, Gayle Lessner; and a brother, Ronald Spohn.

SPOHN — Private interment for Joseph H. Spohn, who died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, will be in Concord Cemetery.
