Gunman holding at least 1 hostage in Discovery Channel HQ
WASHINGTON — Police in Maryland said a gunman entered the Discovery Channel headquarters in Silver Spring today and has taken at least one person hostage.
Footage from WJLA-TV showed police SUVs and cruisers with their lights on.
Cpl. Dan Friz told the channel a gunman was in the building.
