Rebecca ‘Becka’ Green
Rebecca “Becka” Green, 55, of Butler, passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Becka was born June 4, 1971, to Clifford and Penelope Isaly Logan.
She graduated from Grove City College and went on to teach math at Ellwood City High School. She later continued her passion for teaching and travel through Logan Tours, a student educational travel company that will continue to operate in her memory.
Becka was intelligent, funny, compassionate, adventurous and strong-willed. She loved her family deeply, enjoyed traveling and had a lifelong love of learning. Her faith in God was the most important part of her life and she was a member of Grace Community Church in Cranberry.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Daniel Green; her children, Rachel (Karl Tschiegg) Green, Claire Green and Trevor Green; her grandchildren, Maximus and Zoey Green; her mother, Penelope Isaly Logan; and her siblings, Jennifer (Barry) Cummings, Eugene (Chrissy) Logan, Bridget (Pat) Miller and Barry (Doris) Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Logan.
GREEN — Arrangements for Rebecca “Becka” Green, who died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, have been entrusted to YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, Butler.
A celebration of Becka’s life will be held, with details to be announced soon on Facebook.
