Butler VA launches flu vaccination clinics for veterans

The Butler VA Health Care System will begin offering seasonal flu vaccination clinics for Veterans on Sept. 15, providing no‑appointment access for U.S. military veterans at no cost.

A news release from the Butler VA said flu shots will be available at all 2026 clinic locations, during scheduled primary care provider visits and through a walk-in clinic at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center, located at 353 N. Duffy Road. A complete listing of 2026 flu clinics can be found at www.va.gov/butler-health-care/events/.

Benefits include reducing the risk of contracting influenza, decreasing hospitalization chances and protecting family members.

Spouses, dependents and family members who did not serve in the U.S. military are not eligible for flu vaccination through VA clinics, the release said.
