This foolish response is exactly what's wrong with our society Tom. Too many parents act as immature as our children. How can we expect them to grow up and be responsible adults with this is the kind of behavior we model to them? We are raising kids to be disrespectful, abusive and violent. You don't see a problem with that? Who do you think our future criminal's will be? People need to recognize that part of the responsibility of being a parent is being responsible themselves. We can't act like fools then expect our kids to act like adults. I hear parents all the time telling their kids "GROW UP" well newsflash! They are kids, not grown ups. When they start rebelling against you and your authority then maybe it won't be a joke to you or some of these other parents. Oh and my children will not be in public school. I'm not saying they won't see or be disrespected but they will know that as an example of how not to act.... not vise versa.
