With a relentless snowstorm belting the county, schools across the county have either closed for the day or have a two-hour delay.

These school districts were closed as of 8 a.m.: Butler, Moniteau and Slippery Rock. These private schools are also closed: Butler Catholic, Freeport Trinity Lutheran Preschool and Homeacre Christian Academy. Slippery Rock Program Center is closed too.

All other public schools have a two-hour delay.

The Butler school board announced at their meeting Monday night that Monday’s snow makeup day would be Feb. 18.
