CHICORA — A man and a woman dressed in ski masks and hooded sweatshirts, with one of them brandishing a handgun, robbed the Dollar General store along Route 68 in the borough Tuesday night.

According to a report released by state police, the store was empty at about 8:55 p.m. when the pair entered and one of them pointed a silver, semi-automatic handgun at the cashier.

The suspects demanded the cashier open all of the store’s registers and fled with the cash in an unknown vehicle, heading northeast on Route 68.
