BUTLER TWP — A woman driver lost control of her car about 8 a.m. today along Crisswell Road, near its intersection with Old Plank Road.

The car ended up on its roof in a ditch near 170 Crisswell Road.

Police said the driver had to be cut from her vehicle before being taken away by Butler Ambulance Service.

The accident shut down the road to traffic for about an hour.

The woman appeared to have been traveling south when the accident occurred, according to a police officer at the scene.
