Racing hexes don't faze Felmlee

Don't bring race drivers peanuts during races and never paint your car green.

These are superstitions that many race drivers believe in — except Bob Felmlee, who leads the points race at Lernerville Speedway. He recently painted his Sprint car Kawasaki green and his crew said they eat a bag of peanuts before the races.

Some drivers have rituals they perform. Sprint pilot Brent Matus never eats the day of a race until after the feature. Carl Bowser drinks a Red Bull before the race starts. He has a picture of a bull on the hood of his car.
