Minecraft through grief at this upcoming event
Attendees of an October virtual event will use Minecraft to learn coping strategies for grief.
Hope’s Road, formerly Good Samaritan Hospice’s Youth Bereavement Care, will host a free virtual event, “Minecrafting Hope: Building New Connections,” from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 17. Afternoon or evening sessions will be scheduled, as needed.
Children, teenagers, young adults and their families will share how faith helps us heal while enjoying creative Minecraft adventures. Two devices are recommended for participation: one device such as a gaming system, laptop or tablet, and another device such as a phone to video or dial into the Zoom feature.
Hope’s Road is rooted in the Christian faith and welcomes individuals of all faiths and backgrounds.
Registration is due by Oct. 4. To register, visit the Events page at ConcordiaLM.org. For questions, call 1-800-720-2557.
