Rodney Paul Rhodaberger, 69, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, at his residence.

Born Feb. 5, 1957, in Butler, he was a son of Robert L. Rhodaberger and Jane A. Osche Rhodaberger.

Rodney was employed as a machinist at General Electric.

He was a member of Sts. Francis and Clare Parish, St. John Roman Catholic Church, Fenelton.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Rodney is survived by his mother, Jane A. Osche Rhodaberger; his loving wife, Josephine Marie Geibel Rhodaberger, whom he married July 11, 1981; six children, Christine Manchester and her fiancé, Dale Hertweck, Nathaniel Rhodaberger and his wife, Jenna, Gabriella Neff and her husband, Derik, Stephanie Baldauf and her husband, Ryan, Elizabeth Schnur and her husband, Adam, and Johnathan Rhodaberger and his wife, Ashley; three bonus children, Katie Hinton and her husband, Lance, Randy Snyder and his wife, Meagan, and Brian Stutz; 29 grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and he was eagerly awaiting the arrival of a great-grandson due in January.

Rodney is also survived by 11 siblings, Laura Eakman, Karen (Paul) Snyder, Nancy (George) Rodgers, “Rube” (Anita) Rhodaberger, Leah (Dave) Kriley, Nadine (Kenny) Kriley, Tracy (Jake) Snyder, Amy Rhodaberger, A.J. (Dawna) Rhodaberger, Troy Rhodaberger and Janette (Dave) Stephenson; one sister-in-law, Judy Rhodaberger; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Rhodaberger; a son, Sylvester Rhodaberger; a brother, Kenny Rhodaberger; two brothers-in-law, Dale Swartzlander and Harry Eakman; and two nephews.

RHODABERGER — Friends of Rodney Paul Rhodaberger, who died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at Sts. Francis and Clare Parish, St. John Roman Catholic Church, 668 Clearfield Road, Fenelton, with the Rev. Matt McClain officiating.

Burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery.

Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by American Legion Post 778, VFW Post 249 and VFW Post 499.
