PITTSBURGH

Pittsburgh is launching a new program that will allow drivers to contest tickets online.

The Pittsburgh Parking Authority says that beginning Oct. 1 drivers will complete an online form and submit it to a judge. The form will have room for drivers to explain why they are contesting the ticket and attach photos, and they will be notified in three to four weeks of the judge's decision.

The online decision can still be appealed in person at the Parking Authority's downtown office.

Dozens of Transportation Security Administration workers at the Pittsburgh International Airport have been suspended or reprimanded after they were caught taking part in workplace sports gambling. After a months-long investigation 47 workers were suspended and 10 letters of reprimand were sent out.
