GROVE CITY - Chris Reynolds kicked three field goals and Ron Duliba threw a touchdown pass as Alfred beat Grove City 16-0 on Saturday.

Alfred (7-1) opened the scoring with a 37-yard field goal by Reynolds with 6:18 left in the first quarter. The Saxons made it 9-0 at the half with field goals of 28 and 34 yards by Reynolds in the last minute of the first half.

Grove City (3-6) turned the ball over six times and had only 110 yards in total offense. The Wolverines had only 38 yards on 30 rushing attempts.

Alfred capped the scoring with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Ron Duliba to Matt Gibbons. Duliba completed 13 of 33 passes for 118 yards.
