Two bicyclers will recap the “excellent adventures” they have had on famous East Coast trails at a presentation Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Jennings Environmental Education Center.

Karen Beachem and Beverly Heasley have been friends and biking buddies for over 20 years and both live in the Slippery Rock area. They have had their best biking adventures traveling between Pittsburgh and Wahington, D.C., on the GAP and C&O trails, and have done the complete 335-mile trip twice — once in each direction.

They have dubbed these trips as “Beverly & Karen’s Excellent Adventures.” In their presentation they will combine a “show & tell” on the sights and activities along the trail with practical tips from their own experience to help someone prepare to have their own “excellent adventure.”

The free presentation begins at 7 p.m. at Jennings, 2951 Prospect Road in Brady Township.
