Slippery Rock University's Layna Heilman-Houser tallied 26 kills and 34 digs, but The Rock women's volleyball team (18-16, 1-9) completed its season with a 3-2 loss to Indiana (Pa.) University Saturday.

Lindsay Weber added 34 digs and 19 kills for SRU, which lost the match by scores of 30-24, 30-27, 28-30, 28-30 and 8-15.

Sara Kirsch had a solid match in defeat, tallying 76 assists, 14 digs and nine kills.

Holly Whoolery finished in 12th place to help the SRU women's cross country team capture third place in the NCAA Division II East Regional Saturday at IUP.Whoolery finished with a time of 22 minutes, 4 seconds while SRU's men finished 11th in the team standings and were led by Justin Gavazzi's 30th-place finish (33:47).
