HARRISBURG — Lawyers say 19 young men have settled with Penn State over claims of abuse by former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.

The attorneys confirmed the settlements to The Associated Press, saying many if not all of them have received checks from the university. The AP’s canvass indicates that at least six other claims have not been resolved, including two that have yet to be presented to Penn State.
