This will be the first birthday we'll celebrate without you. We remember last year's when you looked so pretty in pink and got to go to your favorite restaurant for a steak. You enjoyed getting to celebrate with your family. As you were leaving, you said, "This was a very nice birthday but I hope I'm not around for another one." Little did we know you'd be granted that wish only fourteen days later.

Please God, place a bouquet of your prettiest roses in Mom's arms along with a hug and a kiss and tell her how much we love and miss her.
