Our - Shawn...meaning "God's Grace."

"Son of my Right hand" his name,

-Benjamin - his life's pace.

Twenty years would be this day.

God's "breath of lives" breathed in.

Eighteen years, his numbered days

Called home Shawn Benjamin.

Happy Birthday to this son,

Born on September first.

Of the special days we spend,

Our birthday must be the worst.

For scripture says in Ecclesiastes:

"Greater day of death is that day,

Than the day of one's fleshly birth."

This only God's Righteous can say!

A 'greater day' our Shawn was called

To ULTIMATE joy untold.
