Yauger

Stella Marie Yauger, 97, of Mars, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, while under the care of Rose Crest Assisted Living.

Born March 3, 1929, in Norwood, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Rocky and Mary (Domanico) Puopolo.

Stella was a former member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Northern Virginia. She resided at Rose Crest Assisted Living in Mars. She was a woman of Italian descent who loved to watch Shirley Temple movies. She met her husband, Jack, through the airlines at a dance.

Stella leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Susan L. Earnheardt (Dan), Sandy B. Haines (William) and Cindy M. Beahm (Matt); her six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wendall Yauger; her infant brother; her two brothers and her sister.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Rose Crest and Bridges Hospice for the excellent care she received.

YAUGER — A funeral service for Stella Marie Yauger, who died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, will take place at a later date to be determined.

Stella will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.
