Net Neutrality is an effort to keep the internet neutral - the way it is now. It won't be the beginning of anything. The net has been neutral since the beginning. Obama does not want to control the internet, he wants to keep it free. Your buddy, John McCain is the biggest supporter against net neutrality, allowing Comcast and other cable companies to regulate how they stream information to you. Comcast wants everyone to use thir movie steaming service, so they will stream Netflix and hulu at a slower speed, making the content unwatchable. Net neutrality is not allowing anyone to tamper with the speed of the packets being sent.
