The “Second Opinion” reply is rhetoric to show how media influence effects opinion. Over the last few years the Butler Eagle has printed various subjects written by a doctor. These articles and editorials cover topics on heroin to religion. The Eagle also has recently printed an article on taxidermy that focused on one local taxidermist that prompted an editorial response. This writer indicated that a friend whose taxidermist business had dropped since the Eagle favored this particular taxidermist and that the cause was the influence the paper has on its readers. As a reader I can make the assumption where a prominently educated author from this published collective of Eagle's literature. With subjects like a heroin problem in the community and how religion is the cause of misconception my rhetoric is embellished as Christian crime. The very influence of the Eagle should be noted in the response to my very short editorial and the content of it taken with a dose of aspirin.
