As part of a $4.8 million safety project between the City of Pittsburgh and Harmar Township, electrical work will be taking place between Aug. 25 and 28 along Route 28 in Millvale Borough, Allegheny County, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
There will be shoulder closures on the northbound Route 28 left hand off-ramp to 40th Street Bridge/Lawrenceville from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day to accommodate electrical work.
Work includes the installation of sensors, detectors and cameras to detect wrong way drivers.
