Police reports as of Aug. 20

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler

Aug. 5 — Ivan Aponte Alicea, 60, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a May 25 traffic stop. Police said Alicea tested positive for THC.

Aug. 6 — Ronald E. Edwards, 70, was charged with misdemeanor hindering prosecution following an Aug. 6 incident. Police said Edwards lied to police about a suspect’s whereabouts.

Aug. 7 — Savannah Kaye Rogers, 20, was charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor resisting arrest following an Aug. 6 incident. Police said Rogers kicked an officer and pulled away from officers.

State police, Butler

Aug. 6 — Jolena Elizabeth Bowser, 48, was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession, drug paraphernalia possession and false identification to police following a July 31 traffic stop in Buffalo Township. Police said Bowser gave police a false name and had three bricks of suspected fentanyl.

Aug. 6 — Brandi C. Bacome, 47, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a July 18 traffic stop in Penn Township. Police said Bacome tested positive for THC and had a blood alcohol content of 0.255%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Aug. 6 — Daniel Anthony Schnur, 40, was charged with two misdemeanor counts each of DUI and controlled substance possession, and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an Oct. 18 traffic stop in Penn Township. Police said Schnur had a brick of suspected fentanyl, suspected crack cocaine, a glass stem pipe, a Chore Boy and tested positive for fentanyl and cocaine.
