Oscar Domhoff
Oscar Paul Domhoff, 94, of Lancaster Township, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, while under the care of AHN Wexford Hospital.
Born Nov. 8, 1931, in Lancaster Township, he was the son of the late Joy and Cora Domhoff.
Oscar was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church in Middle Lancaster, where he served on the church council. He was a self-employed truck driver and, after retirement, he continued to work part-time as a machinist. He was a member of the Teamsters Local No. 261 and No. 92. He was also a former member of the Western Pennsylvania Truck Pullers. Oscar will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his four children, Cindy (Joseph) Benoit, Douglas (Larri Jo) Domhoff, Gordon (Kimberly) Domhoff and Bryan (Pamela) Domhoff; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Oscar was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Abby J. Buffington Domhoff; and three siblings.
The Domhoff family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Hope and Amanda from WellBe Senior Medical (Aetna) and the AHN Hospital staff for their excellent care for Oscar.
DOMHOFF — Friends of Oscar Paul Domhoff, who died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, will be received for visitation from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony, PA 16037, with the Rev. Erin Evans officiating.
Oscar will be laid to rest at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
