Sandy, You go girl! I also lost my job about 12 years ago when the company I worked for left the state. Turns out, it was the best thing that could have happened, though at the time, I was devastated. In a couple of years, you will look back and think the same thing. Not only will you be better off for it, but your kids will see how successful you are with your degree(s) and you will inspire them.
